The Problem

Vanguard International’s existing brand had become outdated and inconsistent.

Its previous logo and colour palette were difficult to reproduce reliably across signage, printed material, digital assets and corporate presentations. This made it harder for the business to maintain a polished and consistent appearance across every client touchpoint.

The company’s website imagery, profile and marketing collateral had also become stale. Much of the visual communication relied on repeated use of the logo, icon or staff photography rather than a cohesive brand system that communicated professionalism, trust and growth.

At the same time, Vanguard was preparing to launch a new training division and broaden its services across recruitment, payroll, immigration, visa support and training. The business needed more than a refreshed logo. It needed a brand platform that could bring its expanding services together under one clear identity.

The Solution

Brand Hero PNG was engaged as Vanguard’s marketing and brand advisor.

The project began with one-to-one strategy sessions and collaborative workshops in Port Moresby. These sessions allowed us to explore the future direction of the organisation, understand its complete service offering and define how Vanguard wanted to be recognised within the market.

One of the most important strategic decisions was changing the name from Vanguard International to Vanguard Solutions.

The word “Solutions” created a broader and more accurate position for the business. Whether Vanguard is assisting a client with recruitment, payroll, immigration, visa services or training, its role remains consistent: providing practical support that helps people and organisations move forward.

We also developed the new tagline, Remarkable Results. Rather than focusing only on the services Vanguard delivers, the tagline places the emphasis on the outcomes its clients receive.

The Rebrand

Brand Hero PNG created a new logo and visual identity designed to feel modern, confident and professional.

The new identity was developed to work consistently across digital platforms, print materials, signage, uniforms, presentations and other corporate applications.

A comprehensive brand style guide was also developed to establish clear rules for:

Brand colours
Typography
Photography and imagery
Graphic elements
Page layouts
Corporate applications

This gave Vanguard much more than a new logo. It provided the organisation with a repeatable brand system that could be confidently applied by its internal team, suppliers and future partners.

The refreshed brand is being progressively rolled out across signage, pull-up banners, the company website, corporate profiles, presentation folders and marketing collateral.

The Outcome

The Vanguard Solutions rebrand has created a stronger foundation for future growth.

The business now has a clearer name, a more professional visual identity and a client-focused message that better represents the full range of services it provides.

Its new tagline communicates a simple and memorable promise, while the brand style guide enables Vanguard to present itself consistently across every customer and stakeholder touchpoint.

For Vanguard, the project was not simply about improving how the business looked.

It was about creating greater clarity, consistency and confidence for its next chapter.
